Our mission at Clinton Middle School is to cultivate an environment that promotes active practice of procedures, including interactions based upon respect, and acceptance of individuals and their differences everyday.

It is our goal to create a culture of learning based upon positive communication and collaboration among faculty, students, families, and community through the following of these procedures and the expectation that the collective Clinton body will display PRIDE in our school.

We do this in order to create a positive learning environment in which each student is accepted and valued, and where students feel safe to learn, create and explore on their way to reaching their full potential.

Positive behavior supports (PBS) is implemented at Clinton in order to encourage and reward students who are exemplifying PRIDE. That means they are following procedures, showing respect to individuals and differences, and are here everyday.

Each month students with perfect attendance are rewarded. Every other week, students who show PRIDE may be chosen by one of their teachers to receive free dress!

Students and teachers are working together to create incentives for good behavior at Clinton.  Our sponsors, such as Verizon Wireless and local churches have donated rewards and incentives to encourage attendance and positive behavior.
