Geography Project

 

A. Choose a country from the following:  Europe, Asia or Africa.

 B.    You must find the following 16 facts about your country.

 1.     Capital

2.     Population

3.     Flag

4.     Climate

5.     Government

6.     Religions

7.     Ethnic Groups

8.     Languages

9.     Economy

10. Crops

11.   Foods (include a recipe)

12.   Currency (money)

13. Wildlife

14. Natural Resources

15.  Cultural Traditions (holidays, celebrations)

16. What do kids that are your age do in that country?  Do they work? Go to school?

 

C.   Your project should include at least four pictures.

 

D.   Your project will include a map of your country.

 

E.    Choose a city from your country that you would like to visit.  Include places of interest about your city.

 

FINAL PROJECT

1.  Using Publisher, make a travel brochure promoting your country.  Include all of the information found through your research.

2.  After your travel brochure is completed, you may choose an additional digital project to complete using the information on your country.  You may choose to make a movie using our new Flip cameras, make a PowerPoint slide show with voice using Audacity, use Glogster, Animoto, or another of the Web 2.0 tools that we have discussed.
